The Bauchi State government has built a new hostel at the Aliko Dangote College of Sciences in Bauchi, which can accommodate up to 600 students.
During a recent tour of the college, the Provost, Dr. Rakiya Saleh, shared that the hostel is nearly finished, with about 90% of the work completed.
It features modern amenities, including a proper drainage system and kitchen facilities.
The hostel has 100 rooms designed to house 600 students and is expected to be fully completed within two months.

In addition to the hostel, the state government has also upgraded the college library and renovated a common room to ensure they meet the necessary standards for accreditation.
Dr. Saleh mentioned that the college recently received accreditation from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), which has led to more programs being offered and an increase in student enrollment.
