Lamine Yamal has officially signed a new six-year agreement with Barcelona, as confirmed by the club from Catalonia.
At just 17 years of age, he played a crucial role in Barcelona’s success in winning the domestic treble and contributed to Spain’s triumph in securing the Euro 2024 championship.
Yamal, who advanced through the renowned La Masia academy, has gained recognition for his exceptional skills in dribbling, creating plays, and scoring goals.
The forward, born in Barcelona, was the key player who scored the pivotal goal that led his team to claim their 28th title in the Spanish league, achieving a 2-0 win against crosstown opponents Espanyol in mid-May.
Under the management of Hansi Flick, the former German national team coach, Barcelona also made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they were taken out by Inter Milan after an extended match.

Barcelona gave Yamal his first match in April 2023, and he has since made a significant 106 appearances for the club.
