Ousmane Dembele‘s era in Barcelona has finally come to an end yesterday after spending five years in Camp Nou from Borussia Dortmund.
The player, who signed for Barcelona on August 8, 2017, in a deal worth €105m and €40m on variables, has become a free agent for the likes of Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to pounce on.

According to reports in Spain, the player’s agent, Moussa Sissoko met with Barcelona representatives, Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff on Monday at Ciutat Esportiva to discuss a proposal for the forward.
Reportedly, Catalans had earlier presented a proposal to the 25-year-old which he rejected and expect a better offer from the club he has poached 32 goals and provided 34 assists from 149 appearances in all competitions.
According to his inner circle, should Barcelona refuse to improve on the proposal being offered to the former Rennes forward, he will have no option but to look for another club.

However, Dembele has not lost hope in Barcelona who he believes will come with a better offer to make him remain in Catalonia.
Although Barcelona are yet to make a move to oblige the player’s request according to MundoDeportivo, Dembele’s contract talks have not ended.
Meanwhile, a report by a Spanish news outlet yesterday, reveals that Barcelona are not willing to improve on the terms being offered to Ousmane Dembele following the financial crises ravaging the club.
Diario Sport reported that Barcelona have peg all wages within the range of €9m for all its players which means for the Frenchman to remain in Camp Nou, he will have to take a pay cut.
Presently, Barcelona are trying to sell some of their assets and Tv rights to meet up with the deadline to renew the contracts of their players which finally elapsed yesterday, Ousmane Dembele inclusive.
Consequent to the expiration of Ousmane Dembele’s contract, Barcelona if still interested in the Frenchman will have to sign him as a fresh player.
