Barcelona has acquired goalkeeper Joan Garcia from Espanyol after activating his €25 million (£21.3 million) release clause.
The 24-year-old will officially join the team on Friday, with the Spanish champions offering him a six-year agreement.
Arsenal and Manchester United also showed interest in Garcia, but he has chosen to stay in Spain.
Since making his first appearance for Espanyol in 2021, he has played 67 matches for the team.
Garcia was instrumental in helping Espanyol gain promotion to La Liga for the 2023-24 season and significantly contributed to their survival in the top division last year, leading the league with the most saves (146).
