Atiku Abubakar’s son, Abdul-Aziz Abubakar, has called on youths to rally behind his father, Atiku Abubakar, for a youth-inclusive future in 2027.
Abdul-Aziz made the call on his X handle, stating that as the 2027 general elections approach, the youths hold the key to the country’s future.
He said the 2027 polls present a defining moment to support a leader who has consistently championed youth inclusiveness in governance and politics, as his father, Atiku Abubakar, has done.
“His vision places young Nigerians at the forefront of nation-building, empowering you to shape a prosperous and equitable Nigeria.
“Atiku’s commitment to youth is evident in his advocacy for policies that prioritise education, entrepreneurship, and political participation.
“He envisions a Nigeria where young people are not just beneficiaries of governance but active contributors to decision-making.
“His plans focus on creating opportunities for innovation, leadership, and economic growth, ensuring your potential is harnessed to drive national progress,” Abdul-Aziz said in the post.

He criticised the Tinubu government and the All Progressives Congress (APC) as having failed to deliver on promises of youth development.
“The APC’s tenure has been defined by economic challenges, soaring unemployment, and a lack of genuine youth engagement.
“Tinubu’s leadership offers no clear strategy to address the pressing issues you face; skyrocketing costs, limited opportunities, and exclusion from governance.
“Supporting the APC means endorsing a system that overlooks your aspirations,” Abdul-Aziz added.
He informed the youths that they have the power to change the “status quo,” adding that “Nigerian youths, the power to change this lies with you.
“In 2027, reject Bola Tinubu and the APC’s unfulfilled promises. Rally behind Atiku Abubakar, a leader who values your voice and is committed to building a Nigeria where you can thrive.
“Mobilise your peers, amplify this message, and make your mark at the polls.”
