Nigerian-French singer Asa has shared the heartbreaking news of her mother’s death, describing the loss as both painful and unexpected.
The award-winning artist announced on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, through an emotional post on social media, in which she paid tribute to the woman, whom she called her “reason to be.”
According to Asa, her mother died after battling a sudden brain tumour, an illness she said appeared without warning and caught the family off guard.
