Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has appeared in a London court to face charges of rape and sexual assault.
The 32-year-old Ghanaian international is facing five counts of rape involving two women, along with a charge of sexual assault related to a third woman.
These alleged incidents occurred between 2021 and 2022 while he was with Arsenal.
On Tuesday morning, Partey arrived at Westminster Magistrates’ Court dressed in a black zip-neck sweater and carrying a navy blazer, quickly passing by reporters.
His charges came just four days after he left Arsenal when his contract ended in June.
