Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is not anticipated to return from a knee injury until after the international break in November.
This came after the midfielder sustained a medial collateral ligament injury during the Gunners’ victory over West Ham on October 4 and had to be substituted in the first half.
The day following the injury, Arsenal issued a statement confirming that Odegaard would be absent for the current international window, but they did not provide a specific timeline for his recovery.
However, it is now expected that the 26-year-old will remain sidelined until after the next round of international matches in mid-November.
This means Odegaard will miss Premier League fixtures against Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley, and Sunderland, as well as Champions League games against Atletico Madrid and Slavia Prague.
