Iran’s army chief General Amir Hatami has issued a warning that the country will react to what he calls threats from the United States and Israel.
Hatami’s remarks came on Wednesday after comments from US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressing support for anti-government protests in Iran.
The state-affiliated Fars news agency said the military leader stated that Iran will not tolerate hostile rhetoric or intimidation from foreign nations.
He emphasized that the Islamic Republic perceives the increasing hostility in statements against Iran as a significant threat and will not allow such actions to go unanswered.

Recently, President Trump indicated that the US might intervene if protesters in Iran were harmed, while Prime Minister Netanyahu has openly supported the protests, which Iranian officials interpret as foreign interference.
Iranian authorities have consistently accused the US and Israel of inciting unrest and meddling in the country’s domestic affairs.
This warning reflects escalating tensions as protests persist and international pressure on Tehran intensifies.
