The Chief Imam of 82 Division, Nigerian Army, Lt.-Col. Bello Musa has called on Muslim faithful to continue with good deeds and lessons learnt during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Musa made the call after the Eid prayers at the Eid Prayer Ground of the Abakpa Military Cantonment, Enugu, on Friday.
The chief Imam noted that it was imperative that all the positive moral and relationship teachings, lessons and practical way of life conformed to during Ramadan should naturally continue to be in one’s life.
According to him, Muslim Ummah should continue in alms giving, work of charity, love and kindness towards all.

He said, “We should never forget to faithfully observe the hours of prayer and pay due respect to constituted authorities.
“For Muslim families, I want them to continue the beneficial love and bonding, which Ramadan has made possible.
“The father or head of the home should continue to bring everybody together even after Ramadan.
“The betterment of society starts in the family, and family should be a place of love and bonding as well as a place that gives sense of belonging.”
Musa prayed for Almighty Allah’s protection of the army troops in various operations in the country.
The chief imam also prayed to Almighty Allah to give divine health and wisdom to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Tinubu.
“We are praying for divine sound health, protection and wisdom for the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Olufemi Oloyede; Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Shuaibu Waidi and the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division, Maj.-Gen. Oluremi Fadairo.”
