Lt.-Gen. Oluyede highlighted the importance of utilizing government resources efficiently to address Nigeria’s current security challenges. He explained that the newly inaugurated village is designed to simulate real-world scenarios, providing cadets with practical training to prepare them for the field. This initiative, he noted, aligns with the academy’s mission to produce highly skilled and disciplined military leaders.
In addition to the Counter Terrorism Village, several other projects were inaugurated, including a modern auditorium for the Army Wing, residential quarters for junior ranks, and the foundation for a new cadet mess and classroom blocks at the NDA Boarding Secondary School.
