Successful candidates will undergo rigorous military training and will benefit from a structured career path, pension scheme, and opportunities for social integration.

On eligibility criteria, the army stated that applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth.

Non-tradesmen and women must be aged between 18 and 22 years, while tradesmen and women must fall within the 17 to 25 years age bracket.

Applicants are also required to meet minimum height standards of 1.68 metres for males and 1.58 metres for females.

In addition, candidates must possess valid identification, including a National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN), as well as a minimum of a Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.

The army emphasised that the recruitment process is entirely free and cautioned the public to beware of fraudsters demanding payment for forms or assistance.
