The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the upcoming formal reception for the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Bassey Eno, as he officially transitions into the party. This event is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, at noon, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
According to a press release by the publicity secretary of the National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, will preside over the formal reception, welcoming Governor Eno and his delegation following an official presentation by the Chairman of the Akwa Ibom APC, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo. Notably, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is anticipated to attend, enhancing the importance of this occasion for both the state and the national party.
