The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has asserted that the party is still strong and ready for victory in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Prof. Yilwatda stated this during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme on Wednesday.
He stated that the APC is well-prepared and continues to be the favored political party by Nigerians.
“Consider this: we held our National Executive Council (NEC) meeting where I was elected, and there was not a single opposing voice from APC members.
“No governors or National Assembly members raised any objections, and there were no dissenting opinions nationwide regarding my election.
“In contrast to other political parties, which are currently facing internal conflicts and crises, and where democracy is lacking, leading to numerous court cases among themselves.

“We recently conducted a bye-election, and it went smoothly without any court disputes or crises in the constituencies we won.

“Our party (APC) is intact, we remain strong, prepared, and continue to be the preferred choice for Nigerians,” he stated.
