The Air Force has successfully carried out airstrikes that resulted in the deaths of over 15 terrorists in the Sambisa forest area of Borno. The strikes targeted a newly identified hideout located west of Zuwa.
This information was disclosed in a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information for the NAF, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame on Thursday in Abuja.
Ejodame explained that the airstrikes, conducted under Operation Hadin Kai on Wednesday, were based on credible intelligence and confirmatory surveillance. This intelligence indicated that the hideout was being used by fighters and commanders responsible for recent attacks in the Bitta region.

The airstrikes not only destroyed key structures within the hideout but also inflicted significant losses on the terrorists.
Ejodame emphasized that the operation reflected the professionalism of the NAF and its commitment to supporting ground forces and ensuring the safety of Nigerians. He added that each successful strike brings the country closer to achieving lasting peace by dismantling terrorist networks.
