The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has published the names of candidates shortlisted for the direct short service commission 34/2025, inviting them to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process.
In a statement released late Sunday, the NAF confirmed that the list of shortlisted candidates is now available on its official recruitment portal.
Those selected are required to attend the selection interview, which will be held at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna from January 12 to February 8, 2026.
NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Ehimen Ejodame, stated that the selection interviews will be conducted in batches, strictly following the schedule posted on the NAF recruitment website.
The NAF emphasized the importance of candidates regularly checking the portal and reporting on their assigned interview dates.

It warned that not following the specified instructions, including attending outside of the designated interview date or time, could result in automatic disqualification from the process.
Additionally, the statement advised shortlisted candidates to thoroughly review all relevant information on the recruitment portal.
“This includes guidelines for prospective officers and airmen, as well as details regarding the Armed Forces of Nigeria Harmonised Terms and Conditions of Service, which outline career progression, welfare, and service obligations within the military,” it noted.
The air force reiterated that the recruitment process is based on principles of transparency, fairness, and merit, assuring the public that only qualified and deserving candidates will be selected.
