The newly appointed General Manager of Kano Pillars, Ahmed Musa, has unveiled a nine-point agenda for the team, with a view to making the team successful in the upcoming National league and other future engagements.
Musa made this known on Thursday, during a media chat with Journalists in Kano, noting that his key priority would focus on reviving and restoring the club’s former glory, urging all stakeholders to render their support.
According to him, the team will seek sponsorship as a step moving forward to ensure what happened in the last season wasn’t repeated, as the team is ready to take the next trophy.
He also said both the team members and management would be carried along to ensure wise decisions are taken, adding that his doors would remain open for advice and positive developments.
“I will bring new ideas for the team and will be open for all to see.
“Our doors are open for sponsorship so that we will not always depend on the government but for now we need it to stabilise. We have also begun writing to companies for sponsorship,” he stated

The super eagles Captain also highlighted that as a team with the largest fan base in the country, a centralised platform will be created, with all states having a chairman while with their support and buying of jerseys, there will be less dependency on government.
On his dual role as a player and the GM, Musa clarified that, “inside the pitch, I’m a player, and the coach has the right to discipline me, but outside the pitch, I’m the GM.
While thanking the Kano state governor for his appointment, he promised to give in his best to build a better team.
He therefore urged members of the Kano pillars teams to remain focused and always pray for the success of the team.
