The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Imo State has expanded its ranks with the formal admission of Chief Francis Igwejiuba, a Harvard-trained education advocate renowned for his philanthropic work and contributions to human capital development in Owerri West.
The reception ceremony was held at the party’s state secretariat in Owerri, where party leaders and supporters gathered to welcome the new member.
Imo State ADC Chairman, Prof. James Okoroma, described Igwejiuba’s entry into the party as both “timely and strategic,” praising his track record of service and community development.
“We welcome you wholeheartedly into the ADC family. This is the party to watch ahead of the 2027 elections,” Okoroma said. “I urge you to continue engaging with your people and our leaders. Every polling unit in Owerri West must be fully constituted, effectively supervised and functioning at optimum capacity.”
