The operatives from the Adamawa State Police Command assigned to the State Intelligence Department have arrested a 22-year-old tricyclist named Habubakar Umar, who resides in Rumde Baru, Yola North local government area. He stands accused of sodomizing four young male children, each between the ages of 8 and 9.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer for the Adamawa State Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, this arrest stemmed from a report made by the parents of the young victims. They stated that the individual had been engaged to transport their children to school but exploited the situation to lure them into committing the unnatural act on multiple occasions.
The accused admitted to the crime while attributing his actions to the influence of the devil.
