The Adamawa Emirate in Adamawa State has expressed gratitude for the efforts of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu in enhancing the security of the nation.
Ribadu, who was recently conferred with the traditional title of Sardauna Adamawa by the Lamido Adamawa, Alhaji Barkindo Mustapha, is recognized for his integrity and service.
This title is historically given to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional character.
During a recent visit by a high-profile delegation from Ribadu to the Lamido’s palace in Yola, the emirate reflected on the significance of the title, emphasizing it as a recognition of Ribadu’s notable contributions to national security and unity.

The Lamido Adamawa expressed confidence in Ribadu’s leadership, stating: “The Sardauna title is not given lightly; it signifies trust, respect, and responsibility. Malam Nuhu Ribadu has shown remarkable commitment to protecting our nation.”
The delegation was led by the Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Maiha, along with the APC Vice Chairman for the North East, Mustapha Salihu, senior federal officials, and close associates of Ribadu.
Mustapha Salihu praised the Lamido’s decision to honor Ribadu with the Sardauna Adamawa title, calling him a person of honesty, integrity, and patriotism, for whom the title is a well-deserved acknowledgment.
“Today, communities that were once troubled are gradually returning to normalcy due to ongoing counter-terrorism efforts and the enhanced collaboration among security agencies under Ribadu’s guidance,” Salihu noted.
Additionally, Yusuf Dan Umma, a close associate of Ribadu, remarked that Ribadu’s legacy as Nigeria’s first anti-corruption chief and now as NSA continues to inspire hope among the populace.
