The members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, have collectively passed a resounding vote of confidence in the leadership of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
This affirmation, as observed by our state correspondent, comes in recognition of the governor’s remarkable achievements in steering the state’s affairs.
The lawmakers expressed their conviction that this vote of confidence serves not only as an acknowledgement of Governor Fintiri’s commendable efforts but also as a catalyst for him to continue advancing the development agenda of the state.

They emphasized that the positive impact of his leadership has been palpable among the Adamawa electorate.
The assembly’s resolution emerged following a motion of urgent public importance, spearheaded by the Minority Leader, Umar Suleiman Alkali, representing Yola North constituency, and Sunday Peter of Guyuk constituency.
Noteworthy figures such as the Majority Leader, Kate Raymond Mamuno (Demsa), Pwamwakeno Mackondo (Numan), Paul Samuel (Mubi North), Yohanna Sahabo Jauro (Mubi South), and Babangida Mohammed Njidda (Nasarawo Binyeri) were among those who commended Governor Umaru Fintiri during the assembly session.
