Controversial Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been arrested following a dramatic incident that played out during a live social media broadcast on Saturday night, December 20, 2025, deepening the public fallout from her bitter dispute with a Lagos-based pastor.
The alleged arrest occurred while Ogala was speaking during a livestream with an online personality. At a point in the broadcast, the interviewer asked her directly if the police were at her residence. Ogala responded in the affirmative, confirming that officers were inside her home. Moments later, she was heard scolding a woman identified as Charity, accusing her of letting people into the house against prior instructions.
During the tense exchange, the interviewer advised Ogala to keep her phone active and asked whether the officers had presented a warrant. The livestream ended shortly after, sparking widespread reactions across social media platforms.
The development was later amplified by comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Dee One, who announced the alleged arrest on his Instagram page. He claimed he had previously cautioned Ogala about inconsistencies in her allegations and suggested she would now have to defend her claims in court. His post quickly gained traction online, adding fuel to an already viral controversy.
The controversy escalated on Friday when Ogala shared, and later deleted, a post allegedly showing a man she identified as Okafor in a private setting. In her caption, she accused him of deceit and claimed to possess video evidence to support her allegations.

The accusations surfaced shortly after the cleric’s wedding to his new bride, Pearl, which reportedly took place earlier in the week. The ceremony went ahead despite Ogala’s viral claims of betrayal, emotional manipulation, and a broken promise of marriage following what she described as a long-term relationship.
In a series of emotional videos shared online over several days, Ogala alleged that the relationship began around 2017 and spanned several years. She claimed she ended her previous marriage at Okafor’s urging and later suffered severe emotional distress after the relationship was abruptly terminated.
As the story continues to unfold, public attention remains fixed on the legal and personal implications of the allegations, with many awaiting official confirmation from the police on the circumstances surrounding the reported arrest.
