The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has issued a warning to candidates involved in the current recruitment process to be cautious of scammers pretending to be commission agents.
In a statement from the commission’s Chairman, Musa Kaibo, the commission said it does not and will not accept any payments or favors in exchange for job placements.
The statement also cautioned individuals who are extorting unsuspecting applicants under the pretense of helping them secure employment to stop immediately, as such behavior will not be tolerated.

The commission encouraged candidates and the public to report anyone engaging in these fraudulent activities to law enforcement or directly to the commission’s headquarters, including relevant details about the offenders.
The commission assured that the identities of those who report such incidents will be kept confidential.
Kaibo reiterated that, following the directives of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, the recruitment process will be conducted in an open, fair, and transparent manner to provide equal opportunities for all qualified candidates.
