Ojo Olorunleke, the Super Eagles goalkeeper, has been accused by his wife of threatening her life amid a troubling domestic dispute that has unfolded on social media.
Tosin Olorunleke, the wife of the former Enyimba captain and Nigerian international, made a public appeal for assistance on Sunday night.
She claimed that her husband’s behavior has become violent and threatening since his return from the Africa Cup of Nations early last year.
In a detailed post on her Facebook page, Tosin accused the Super Eagles goalkeeper of infidelity and of forcibly entering her bedroom during intense arguments.
Tosin expressed that she and her children feel “unsafe” and directly attributed her husband’s threatening behavior to an alleged affair.
Her post conveyed her distress, stating:
“I believe she has cast a spell on my husband and is pushing him to harm me and our children. He has moved in with her and is being urged to divorce me and conduct DNA tests on our children. I have no issue with that, but they should just leave me and my children in peace.”
Tosin claimed that since Olorunleke gained prominence during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, where he was Nigeria’s only home-based player and part of the runner-up squad, her home life has been chaotic.
She alleged that his relationship with a woman named Precious Daniel has caused significant strain.
Tosin accused her husband of breaking into her locked bedroom and rushing to her bed whenever he visits, leaving her feeling unsafe.
“Every time my husband comes home now, I have to take my children to the hospital the next day… Today, I was outside and locked my bedroom, but he came home and broke down the door. What was his intention before leaving to stay with his mistress again?”
Her message concluded with a heartfelt plea for help:

“Please, I don’t know what his intentions are; the world should assist me if things escalate. Leke, please leave me in peace; I have done nothing to deserve the pain you and your children have caused me since last year.
“If anything happens to me or my children, I am raising my voice now, and my family and loved ones should hold Leke Olorunleke and Precious Daniel accountable. My children and I are no longer safe from both of you.”
Olorunleke, 30, has built a notable career in domestic football, starting with Giwa FC in 2013 and later playing for Kano Pillars, Akwa United, Sunshine Stars, and Abia Warriors.
He joined Enyimba in 2021, contributing to the club’s victory in the 2022–23 Nigeria Professional Football League and was appointed captain in August 2023.
He was part of Nigeria’s U20 team that won the 2015 African U-20 Championship and received his first senior Super Eagles call-up in 2022. His selection for AFCON 2023 as the only NPFL player was widely recognized as an acknowledgment of home-based talent.
