The National Sports Commission (NSC) has put to rest rumors regarding unpaid bonuses for the Super Falcons, confirming that all dues were cleared before the team’s final match against Morocco.
During an appearance on Arise TV on Friday, NSC Director-General, Bukola Olopade stated that he had personally communicated with team captain Rasheedat Ajibade and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), ensuring that “everyone is aligned.”
“I can confirm with certainty that all their bonuses have been paid. There may be one or two players who have not yet received theirs due to banking issues with the CBN, but that will be sorted out,” Olopade explained.
Regarding the promised houses and the $100,000 reward for the team’s victory in the 2024 WAFCON, Olopade assured that the commitments made by President Bola Tinubu would be fulfilled.
