The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has launched Computer-Based Tests (CBT) at designated centers to recruit thousands of unemployed individuals in the state.
The highly anticipated CBT for applicants seeking positions in the Adamawa State Civil Service has officially started at various locations throughout the state.
This initiative represents a significant step in the ongoing recruitment process, drawing thousands of shortlisted candidates from across the state, all competing for civil service jobs.
In discussing the start of the exams, Abubakar Umar Maiha, the Permanent Secretary of the Adamawa State Civil Service Commission, characterized the process as efficient, transparent, and aligned with international best practices.
He emphasized that the CBT approach is designed to ensure a merit-based selection process, free from bias or favoritism.

Maiha praised the candidates for their disciplined behavior and encouraged them to perform their best during the exams, stressing that only qualified and capable individuals will be selected for final consideration.
He also expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his dedication to revitalizing the civil service sector and creating job opportunities for the youth of Adamawa State.
The examination is set to continue for several days, with different groups scheduled to take the tests at approved centers in Yola and other local government areas.
Security personnel and exam supervisors have been assigned to ensure a smooth process.
The commission advises applicants to regularly check their emails and phone messages for updates regarding their specific exam dates and locations.
