The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) plans to organise an on-the-spot complaint resolution for electricity consumers in Ebonyi State.
The exercise, which will start with electricity consumers in Abakaliki and Afikpo districts of the state, is part of the company’s efforts to resolve its customers’ billing-related concerns.
Group Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh, told newsmen in Abakalili on Wednesday that the exercise would enhance electricity customers’ experience.
Ezeh said that the 3- day event would be held at three different locations from Tuesday, July 22 to Thursday, July 24, 2025, between the hours of 10am to 2pm.
He encouraged customers with issues regarding their electricity bills to take advantage of the opportunity to have them resolved.

Ezeh added that the first day of the exercise will take place at the EEDC Old Office, beside the Ebonyi State Ministry of Finance, Abakaliki.
On the second day, he said the the exercise will hold at the EEDC GRA Service Center, opposite Democracy Estate, Abakaliki, while on the third day, the exercise will take place by at the EEDC Afikpo Service Center on Amachi Road, Afikpo.
“Customers are required to come along with their recent electricity bills, receipts or proof of payments, and any other supporting documents or correspondence related to their complaints.
“The on-the-spot complaint resolution is strictly focused on billing issues, and we advise customers with other concerns to visit the customer service units at the district offices and service centers for appropriate action,” the EEDC said.
