FIFA has shared information regarding ticket purchases for the matches that will be held at the home of the New England Patriots and Revolution.
The 2026 World Cup will feature games at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The tournament is set to begin on June 11 in Mexico City.
A total of 48 teams will compete across 16 host cities in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, with the final match scheduled for MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on July 19.
FIFA refers to Gillette Stadium as “Boston Stadium” for the World Cup, where seven matches will take place.
FIFA announced on Tuesday that ticket sales will occur in phases, with the application period for the first ticket lottery starting on September 10.
“We’re excited to welcome the world back to North America as Canada, Mexico, and the United States host what will be the largest and most significant sporting event ever.
We encourage fans everywhere to prepare to secure their spots – these will be the most sought-after seats in global sports,” stated FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Fans are advised to visit FIFA.com/tickets to express their interest and create a FIFA ID prior to the ticket sales opening.
Once registered, fans will receive further information about ticketing dates, next steps, and procedures.
“Each phase may have different purchasing processes, payment options, and ticket types, with complete details for each phase to be released in the coming months,” the FIFA website notes regarding the ticketing process.

– Match 97 – Thursday, July 9, 2026
The first five matches will be part of the Group Stage, while the sixth match will be in the Round of 32. The final match in Foxboro will be a quarterfinal.
