Legendary Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur, Innocent Idibia also known as 2Face, has commissioned a music studio he built for the Music Department of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
The Iconic music star shared video clips from the commissioning of the studio to his Instagram page, adding that he had earlier been inducted into the OAU school of music as a fellow, The Trumpet gathered.
“Today, I commissioned the multimillion studio I built for the music department in OAU Ile-Ife,” he announced.
He captioned the video of the launching ceremony, “Sometime ago I was honoured by the Great OAU as I was inducted into the school of music as A Fellow Of The School of music.”

The multimillion ultra-modern recording studio was well received by the university’s board and students, who happily sang their school anthem with the singer in their midst.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ogunbodede appreciated the singer and revealed that OAU now has the best recording studio in any Nigerian University and it is because of the magnanimity and philanthropic gesture of 2Face.
The musician shared a picture of himself and Eyitope Ogunbodede, OAU’s vice-chancellor after the studio was commissioned.
He revealed that he plans to build another music studio in Benue State University (BSU).
