On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is ready to accept the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, into the party.
Tinubu mentioned that whenever Wike chooses to join the ruling party, the APC will be prepared to welcome him.
He made these comments during the inauguration of the Arterial Road N16 (Shehu Shagari Way), which connects Ring Road One (Nnamdi Azikiwe Way) to Arterial Road N20 (Wole Soyinka Road), alongside several other roads in the Katampe District of Abuja.

The president expressed that with Wike’s inclusion, the APC “will remain in high spirits,” while their opponents will continue to “struggle in distress.”
Currently, Wike remains a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The PDP has been facing challenges in leadership that stem from the run-up to the 2023 presidential election.
