In the North Central region, places like Benue, Kwara, Niger States, and the Federal Capital Territory could have morning thunderstorms, followed by rain showers in the afternoon over the same areas, as well as in Kogi and Plateau States.

Moving to the southern region, the forecast indicates a cloudy day with possible morning rain in Ondo, Ekiti, and Edo States.

For the afternoon and evening, isolated thunderstorms and rain are expected in various southern states, including Imo, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra, Oyo, Ogun, and Rivers.

On Thursday, the weather will be similar, with morning thunderstorms likely in parts of Kaduna, Kebbi, Zamfara, Adamawa, and Taraba States.

Again, more thunderstorms and rain are anticipated later in the day over many of the same northern states.

In the North Central region, a mix of clouds and sunshine is expected, along with morning thunderstorms affecting Niger and Nasarawa States, as well as the Federal Capital Territory. This will be followed by more thunderstorms in the afternoon across several states.

For the southern region on Thursday morning, thunderstorms may hit Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River States.

In the afternoon, several southern states may also experience isolated thunderstorms and rain.

In the North Central region, clouds and some sunshine will be present, along with thunderstorms in the afternoon over the Federal Capital Territory and neighboring states.

The agency advises residents to take precautions during this period.

It said that strong winds could accompany the storms, “so it’s wise to secure loose objects outside.
