On Friday, President Trump became involved in the ongoing trial concerning Diddy.
Trump was speaking at the White House, far away from the Manhattan court for the first time since the trial began, when he was questioned about the possibility of granting a pardon to Diddy if convicted.
Trump indicated that he might consider clemency, stating to reporters that he would need to review the specific circumstances and establish whether he believed Diddy was treated unjustly.
Additionally, Donald Trump remarked that it seemed a little early for him to be contemplating pardons at this stage.
The prosecution is still in the process of presenting their argument, while Diddy’s defense has not yet had their opportunity; so far, they have merely been cross-examining witnesses and attempting to challenge the evidence.
Only one witness took the stand on Friday, a former assistant to Diddy who testified under the name “Mia.”
She informed the jury that after nine months of mediation and years of service, Diddy provided her with a severance package amounting to $400,000, mentioning that she had sought the help of employment attorneys who initially pursued $10 million from Diddy.

Mia stated that during negotiations, she did not mention the sexual assaults she had allegedly experienced.
In cross-examination, she faced tough questioning regarding her accusations against Diddy, as defense attorney Brian Steel presented jurors with numerous positive social media comments Mia had posted about Diddy, despite the allegations.
Mia clarified that social media is typically a platform for showcasing the positives in life, rather than the negatives.
Steel directly asked her if she was fabricating the sexual assault allegations, to which she firmly reiterated that her statements in court were entirely accurate.
Mia is scheduled to return to the stand on Monday for further questioning.
Diddy’s long-time associate, Charlucci Finney, shared with us on Friday that Diddy is doing well, supported by a small circle of family and lawyers, even though he is not receiving visits from any celebrity friends at the courthouse.
