With the transfer window opening on match day three, about five players were rumored to be moving from their current teams to those expressing interest in them.
In the latest games, Edu Wolves gathered six points, while Treo Soso Lions, Goshen White Tigers, and Allen Foxes each earned four points, and Bassey Sparrows ended up with only three points.
Edu Wolves have now matched in four teams in points, overtaking the earlier dominants Soso Lions and Goshen White Tigers.
Awards were presented to Chinedu Anyaegbu of Edu Wolves as Coach of the Week, while Andy from Edu Wolves took home the King of the Week title.
Chinedu Anyaegbu, the team manager and player for Edu Wolves, expressed optimism about his squad and reassured fans that their upcoming matches will show improvement.
He mentioned their ambition to win the highly discussed grassroots sports event in Abuja.
The next set of matches in the ongoing championship is scheduled for June 1, 2025, at the Durumi football pitch, located across from the NNPC filling station in Abuja.
