The Managing Director of the Kano State Housing Corporation (KSHC) Alh. Abdullahi Rabiu, has issued a quit notice to all occupants of illegal structures at the Kwankwasiyya City, along Governor’s Lodge, to vacate the premises within 24 hours or risk demolition.
According to him, the said structures are unauthorized and encroaching on government land.
“Failure to comply with these directives will result in demolition and removal of the structures.”

Alh. Rabiu in a statement issued by the corporation’s Director Public Enlightenment, Ismail Gwammaja, reiterated the government resolved to uphold the law and protect government properties.
He therefore urged all the affected individuals to seek alternatives and vacate the premises within the stipulated time to avoid embarrassment.
