The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has declared Nigeria as the host country for the 2025 WAFU B U-17 Championship, with matches set to take place in Ogun State in September 2025.
This decision was announced through a statement following a courtesy visit by NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau to the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in Abeokuta.
The competition will be held at two venues, the newly refurbished MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abeokuta and the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Both sites are fully equipped for international matches, and the NFF praised the state’s “excellent tranquility” and “world-class sporting facilities.”
