Paris Saint-Germain’s players, Neymar and Donnarumma almost got into a brawl after their unceremonious exit from the Champions League tournament caused by Real Madrid.
The Brazilian Neymar, who was bitter about the outcome of the match, accused PSG’s goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the team’s dressing room for creating the blunder that led to Benzema’s equaliser.
Angered by Neymar’s outburst, the Italian goalkeeper fired back at the PSG’s forward who he claimed made the mistake that resulted in Real Madrid’s second goal.
These reactions heightened to the extent both players almost got into a fight before they were separated by their fellow teammates.

Elsewhere, the President of PSG and the director of football, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and Leonardo Araüjo, stormed the referees room to accused them of not awarding a foul to Gianluigi Donnarumma over Benzema’s contact with the goalkeeper that led to Los Merengues 61th minute equaliser.
The confrontation by the PSG’s duo with the referees in their closet took a different twist which resulted in Nasser Al-Khelaifi threatening the life of Danny Makkelie before the situation was brought under control.
However, whether the European football governing body (UEFA) will take decisive action against PSG for their unprofessional conduct is still unknown.
