In a bid to empower young professionals from the Niger Delta, the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has officially opened applications for its 2025/2026 Foreign Postgraduate (Master’s Degree) Scholarship Programme. This initiative aims to provide top-tier education and training for Niger Delta indigenes, enabling them to compete globally and contribute to Nigeria’s local content development.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, applicants must:
• Be from the Niger Delta region
• Hold a First Class, Second Class Upper, or Lower Division Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
• Be 40 years old or younger
Eligible Fields of Study
The scholarship covers eight key disciplines, including:

Selection Process
✔ Online Application Submission
✔ Preliminary Shortlisting (based on academic records & WASSCE/NECO results)
✔ Computer-Based Test (CBT)
✔ Minimum CBT score of 70% required to advance
✔ Final verification at Local Government Area (LGA) & Community Development Committee (CDC)
