The Host Community of Nigeria (HOSTCOM), Ijaw Youths Chapter in Delta State, has commended Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, for ably securing critical oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta region.
The body also commended President Bola Tinubu for awarding the pipeline surveillance security contract to Tantita, just as it further charged the president to expand the contract scope for a more effective protection of oil and gas pipelines across the country.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the president of Ijaw Youths Chapter of HOSTCOM, Okrikpa Prince and Oliver Mala respectively, they applauded the effectiveness and efficiency of Tantita in executing their job that has successfully raised the nation crude oil production from a paltry 600,000bpd to over 1.8mbpd currently.

The statement revealed that through the efforts of Tantita in reducing illegal oil refining activities in the creeks, the riverine people now enjoy clean water for fishing, drinking and other aquactic activities.
“The rivers are now less polluted by oil and the environment more friendly to support the flora and funna of the surrounding environs.
“HOSTCOM Ijaw Youths wing therefore, tasks President Bola Tinubu on sustaining the Tantita contract services, even as it urges Tompolo to ensure that Tantita remain focused, steadfast, and efficient, in ensuring they discharge the onerous task of safeguarding Nigeria’s oil and gas critical assets,” the body said.
