He said, “As a kid, as a fan of the history of the game, being in the league as long as I’ve been in this league, things like that continue to make me even more humble.
“Being an NBA player and being able to have the privilege to be able to play this long and have these opportunities, man, it’s something I never take for granted. And the crazy thing is I felt like I missed eight easy shots I normally would have made,” he added.
With this record, DeRozan has out his name alongside other NBA legendary stars and the Bulls’ like Michael Jordan who got at least 30 points in 8 consecutive games while Coby White who played for Bulls got a season-high 31 points and Nikola Vucevic got a double-double of 21 points with 10 rebounds.
From this game so far, Chicago (38-21) recorded its fifth straight win to remain at the top of the Eastern Conference while Sacramento (22-38) sits at 13 place in the Western Conference.
Meanwhile, the Bulls on February 24 after the All-Star Game vacation, will be hosting the Atlanta Hawks. Also on the same day, the Sacramento Kings will host the Denver Nuggets.
