Justice Emeka Nwite ruled that the two sureties must own landed property within the court’s jurisdiction.
He also ordered that the sureties swear an affidavit of means, which must be verified by the court registrar.
Also, the former governor was ordered to appear in court with his international passport and his sureties were required to submit two copies of each of their passport photos.
The judge then ordered that Bello be remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre, while awaiting the completion of his bail conditions.
