A Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State has affirmed the suspension of Ali Odefa from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Odefa before his suspension was the national vice chairman, PDP South East zone. He was suspended from the party on October 4, 2024, by the executive committee of the party at his Oguduokwor Ward in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State over allegations of anti-party activities.

Delivering judgement in suit FHC/AI/CS/182/2024, Justice Hilary Oshomah affirmed the suspension of Odefa and ordered that he should stop parading himself as the national vice chairman of the party having been validly suspended from the party.
All efforts to reach the suspended Odefa to react on the issue proved abortive, as he neither picked or responded to several calls put across to him.
