The Delta State Government has described the attack on the NNPCL/Chevron oil facility as act of economic sabotage.
The vandalisation of the Dibi Abiteye Flow Station in Warri North Local Government Area of the state happened on November 23, 2024.
Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, in a statement on Monday, said government at all levels in collaboration with security agencies and the Tantita Security Services will fish out the perpetrators and bring them to book.

Emu in the statement, said: ” Delta government reassures Chevron Nigeria Limited and other oil operating companies of our continuous support and commitment to their successful operations in Delta State.
“We also solicit the support of host communities in identifying and clamping down on the offenders.
“The state government shall not hesitate to deal decisively with anyone or group of persons/criminals who are out to sabotage government’s resolve to sustain the current tempo of oil exploration in the state.”
