Troops of the Nigerian Army 63 Brigade in Delta State have arrested four individuals suspected of criminal activity and recovered arms and ammunition during a patrol operation.
The suspects, who were intercepted while operating a tricycle, locally known as “keke napep,” were apprehended near Nwawolo Market, behind the Asaba Specialist Hospital, according to a statement by Major Emmanuel Onoja, Assistant Director of Army Public Relations.

Recovered items include one AK47 rifle, a round of 9mm ammunition, two cartridges, a magazine, a crowbar, a battle axe, several mobile phones, and a wallet containing $19 and ₦30,650.
The suspects are currently in custody and undergoing further interrogation.
