The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has established a Public Complaints Desk to enhance its engagement with the public.
This was disclosed by EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, in a press statement made available on its verified X social media handle on 16th October, 2024.
According to Oyewale, the initiative, which is directed by EFCC Chairman, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, will be operational at all zonal directorates and the commission’s corporate headquarters.

He explained that the desk will serve as a platform for the public to file complaints related to the commission’s operations, adding that specially trained officers will manage the unit, ensuring swift resolution of grievances and strengthening the relationship between the EFCC and the public.
He encouraged citizens to utilize the service for concerns about the EFCC’s activities, promising that all complaints will be thoroughly addressed, pointing that the move was part of measures to ensure transparency and accountability as it continues its fight against financial crimes across the nation.
