The Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Project Monitoring/Audit Engr. Goodnews Agbi has assured that the Project Monitoring and Audit is to collaborate and synergize with the Warri, Uvwie and Environs Development Agency (WUDA) and all other MDAs in Delta State to ensure all projects in the State are properly executed according to the Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME) to achieve the Governor of Delta State Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori M.O.R.E Agenda.
He made this known during a courtesy visit by the Directorate of Project Monitoring/Audit to the Director General of the Warri, Uvwie and Environs Development Agency Hon. Prince Godwin Ejinyere at his office in DDPA Estate, Ugborikoko, Uvwie Local Government, Area Delta State.
According to him “Our purpose for this courtesy visit is to familiarize ourselves with your agency and assure that we are to work with you as partners. Our mandate is to monitor and audit all government projects across the state to ensure all projects are done according to the Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME) and Specifications”.
“We are here to collaborate with you because we are all working for the same government to achieve the result needed to move the State forward. Our governor is a God-fearing governor who is ready to develop the State. A governor who wants all Deltans to enjoy the dividends of democracy and breathe a new lease of life”.

He affirmed that both the political appointees and the Civil Servants should collaborate and synergize with us to ensure the success of the M.O.R.E Agenda of Governor Oborevwori and not witch hunt or cause disaffection, assuring that the Directorate of Project Monitoring/Audit is not interested in how the jobs are awarded by the MDAs but are interested in how the jobs are properly executed, he said.
He further said that the Warri, Uvwie and Environs Development Agency has a lot of jobs to do because the working Governor of the State want to ensure that Uvwie, Warri and Environs become a better place in terms of infrastructural development.
He added that if all agencies of the Delta State government collaborate and work effectively the second tenure of the governor election will be a walkover for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
He said that the Directorate of the Projects Monitoring/Audit will visit all the MDA’s projects and contracts, noting that whenever various agencies are called upon they should endeavour to yield to our call.
Responding, the Director General of Warri, Uvwie and Environs Development Agency (WUDA) said, “Our Governor, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori is a workaholic, a goal getter and a result-oriented person who wants the best for Delta State. We are saddled with a huge responsibility to work and move Delta State forward.
He also said that the M.O.R.E Agenda of the Governor Oborevwori-led administration is for the benefit of all Deltans, saying that whatever they are doing now is to ensure they immortalize the name of the governor as a reference point for many years ahead.
Hon. Ejinyere also said that, his agency award contracts and also supervise contracts awarded but they are open to the Directorate of Project Monitoring/Audit for second supervision of Projects awarded by the agency.
In her briefed remark the Permanent Secretary Directorate of Project Monitoring/Audit Mrs. P. O Esejo stated “What is key in our discussion is collaboration, we need to synergize to move the State forward and accomplish the Governor Oborevwori M.O.R.E Agenda”.
She affirmed that for the discussion and deliberation they have with the Warri, Uvwie and Environs Development Agency there is an agreement to collaborate and work together.
The Special Adviser to the governor on Project Monitoring/Audit was accompanied by four Executive Assistants and Senior Special Assistants to the state Governor on Project Monitoring/Audit, the EAs are Mr. Sese Omu, Onome Christian Amori, Raymon Edijala and Prince Luke Pedro, while the SSAs are Pastor Ken Atuya and Engr. Efe Aluta amongst others.
