The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that the registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and the Direct Entry (UTME/DE) examination will begin by February 12, 2022.

This was made known by the board in its weekly bulletin released by its Director of Public Relations, Dr. Fabian Benjamin in Abuja.

According to the board, “UTME/DE registration will start on February 12, 2022 and ends on March 19, 2022, adding that Mock examination will be held on April 20, 2022, while UTME holds from 20th to 30th April 2022”.

The bulletin also revealed a letter written by a repentant candidate named Mr. Timipade Kemepade seeking forgiveness from the board after he was involved in an examination malpractice when he sat for the exam twenty-one years ago.

However, the repentant candidate blamed the youthful spirit for his misconduct.

Replying to the write-up, the board said the apology and resultant admission of guilt are ejected in totality and are not admissible.
