Winners of the 2022 Super 6 playoff in Benin City, Edo State, Bayelsa Queens, have landed Côte d’Ivoire to kickstart their campaign for a qualifying ticket to the 2022 Women’s CAF Champions League.
Bayelsa Queens got the opportunity to play the qualifiers after the club won the Super 6 tourney.
According to the report by the club, the squad jetted out through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Tuesday, en route to the Francophone West African country where they landed in Yammosoukro, the Capital of Côte d’Ivoire.

The qualifiers begin this weekend and the Bayelsa Queens are not leaving any stone unturned as they look forward to putting up a brilliant show that will guarantee them the qualifying ticket.
The Super 6 champions whose player Gift Monday emerged as the leading goalscorer, had been drawn in Group B alongside Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa, Burkina Faso’s USFA, and Togo’s Athleta.
Consequently, if the champions of the recently concluded Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) top-tier division triumph in the playoff, they would proceed to compete in the 2022 Women’s CAF Champions League in Morocco later this year.
