Detectives of Bayelsa State Police Command in collaboration with youths of Sagbama Community have arrested three teenage boys as suspects for attempted ritual killing on Monday.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the suspects namely; Emomotimi Magbisa ‘m’ 15 years, Perebi Aweke ‘m’ 15 years and Eke Prince ‘m’ 15 years, all natives of Sagbama Community, allegedly accosted one Endeley Comfort ‘f’ 13 years, hypnotised her to follow them to the apartment of Emomotimi Magbisa in Sagbama Community, cut her finger and sprinkled her blood on a mirror for ritual purpose.

Vigilant youths of Sagbama community noticed the suspicious movements of the suspects and raised alarm. The suspects were subsequently arrested by the Police, who recovered some substance suspected to be charms.
The three teenage suspects who confessed to the crime, have been transferred to the Anti-kidnapping unit for discreet investigation.
Comfort, the rescued victim was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
The Commissioner of Police Bayelsa State Command, Ben Nebolisa Okolo commends the efforts of the community youths for vigilance in the community.
