American rapper and music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been taken by ambulance from a federal prison in New Jersey for medical attention following a head injury, although the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.

The 56-year-old entertainer was reportedly taken from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in the early hours of Saturday, October 10, 2026, according to media reports published ahead of Monday, October 12. Details about how he sustained the reported injury, the hospital where he was treated and his current medical condition were not immediately available in the reports cited.

  • Reports indicate that the rapper left the facility at about 1 a.m. and returned before 7 a.m.
  • His reported prison disciplinary issues include allegations of misconduct and possession of an unauthorised mobile phone.
  • His release date was reportedly moved from January to March 2028.
  • Combs was convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
  • A jury acquitted him of separate sex-trafficking and racketeering charges.

Diddy Reportedly Taken for Medical Attention

According to the reports, Combs was transported from FCI Fort Dix by ambulance for medical attention after sustaining a reported head injury.

The circumstances surrounding the incident have not been established, and no confirmed details were provided about the nature or severity of the injury.

The reports indicated that Combs left the correctional facility at approximately 1 a.m. and returned before 7 a.m., suggesting that he spent only a few hours away from the prison.

Further information from prison authorities or his representatives would be needed to establish what happened and confirm his medical condition.

Diddy Faces Reported Prison Disciplinary Action

The reported medical incident comes amid media coverage of disciplinary action against Combs over alleged misconduct while serving his prison sentence.

According to the reports, prison authorities sanctioned him for what was described as “disruptive conduct” and deducted 41 days from his accumulated good-conduct time.

His release date, previously expected in January 2028, was reportedly moved to March 2028 following the disciplinary action.

Other reports have alleged that Combs possessed an unauthorised mobile phone in prison and used it to view explicit content allegedly sent by a former girlfriend.

Additional claims suggested that he received special treatment, including massages, alcoholic beverages and special meals, as well as arrangements for his toilet and shower to be cleaned before use.

These allegations have not been independently verified, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons has not publicly confirmed the details of the reported disciplinary action or its effect on his release date.

What Led to Diddy’s Imprisonment?

Combs was convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution following a trial that lasted approximately two months.

During the proceedings, prosecutors presented evidence and testimony concerning sexual encounters involving his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and other women. The case included allegations that Combs arranged for male sex workers to participate in encounters during which drugs were allegedly used.

The jury acquitted him of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering but found him guilty on the two prostitution-related transportation counts.

The convictions formed the basis of the prison sentence he is currently serving.

Further Details About Diddy’s Condition Awaited

The reported head injury has raised questions about Combs’ condition and the circumstances surrounding his temporary departure from FCI Fort Dix.

However, the available reports did not establish how the injury occurred, whether it required hospital admission or whether it would affect his prison sentence.

Further confirmation from prison authorities, his legal representatives or other reliable sources is needed to clarify the incident.
