Current status

No confirmed nationwide date has been announced for paying outstanding N-Power stipends. The Senate disclosed in July 2025 that the Federal Government approved N81 billion to clear arrears owed mainly to Batch C beneficiaries. Beneficiary leaders say payments so far have been partial, with some owed eight to 12 months.

What to do now: Keep your NASIMS profile and bank details current, follow only official ministry channels, and ignore social media posts announcing payment dates the ministry has not confirmed.

How to check your N-Power payment status

  1. Log in to the N-Power self-service portal on NASIMS with the email address you used to apply.
  2. Confirm that the bank account and BVN details on your profile match your bank records.
  3. Check your bank account statement; stipends are paid directly into the account on your profile.
  4. If you served but have not been paid, raise a complaint through the portal support channel or your state NSIP focal person.
  5. Never pay anyone who promises to process or fast-track your arrears.

N-Power payment: frequently asked questions

When will N-Power pay outstanding stipends?

No confirmed nationwide payment date has been announced. The Federal Government approved N81 billion for the arrears, but beneficiaries say payments have been partial. This tracker is updated when an official date is confirmed.

How much is the N-Power stipend?

Graduate N-Power beneficiaries were paid N30,000 a month.

Who is still owed N-Power stipends?

Most of those owed are Batch C beneficiaries (Streams 1 and 2). Beneficiary groups say some have been paid one to three months while others are owed eight to 12 months.

How do I check my N-Power payment status?

Log in to the NASIMS self-service portal with your registered email, confirm your bank details, and check your bank account.
